Meeting Day
Not a huge crowd today, only 4 of us at the shop today. I couldn't stay long needed to go get a few things ready for the Boy Scout auction. Don Fults was forging out a punch from a hammer head,it was looking pretty good when I left.
Good times, Good Friends, what else can a person ask for? " OK! OK! a little Good FOOD wouldn't hurt!
Make today GREAT!

Blacksmith getting started with Blog
Hey Folks, Jason P here.
As you can probably tell I am new to this blogging so please be patient with me.
I just wanted to get something started so that we could teach more people about Blacksmithing.
The Warren County Blacksmith Association is a non-profit organization that meets here in McMinnville,TN. We meet on the first and third Saturdays of each month. We start with the basics of starting a forge fire, hammer technigues, basic forging tools ect. We then guide folks through the steps of making their own basic tools. Later we get into more sophisticated tools and also bladesmithing.
The Fairfield Blacksmith Show is a TV series that we produced as a project seperate from the WCBA. However it was our intention to promote the organization further and to use the show to reach a much larger interested audience.
You will notice that there is a video viewer to the right where you can sample our show.
You are also welcome to visit us at http://www.myspace.com/warrencountyblacksmiths or you can see the more videos
We hope that you will come back and visit us here often as we will be posting much more useful information from time to time.
Take care for now
